Bodley Library

Christ's Library serves the needs of students, Fellows, staff and researchers with over 80,000 books, a comfortable reading room, IT provision, and friendly staff. Please follow the links on the left to visit the section of the library that interests you.

The Working Library is open 24/7 for members of the College. The Library is staffed 9-5 on weekdays.

Library News

Old Library to open to the public

The Old Library will be open to the public on a trial basis from Tuesday 15 March to Thursday 21 March 2013. Opening hours will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 2pm to 4pm. For further information, see our special collections blog.

Treasures online

The Library's current exhibition, Treasures of the Old Library, is available online. The exhibition will run from 30 November 2012 to 31 May 2013, and can also be visited in person. Email library@christs.cam.ac.uk for further information.

We have a new subscription to the journal Classical music, which comes out fortnightly. Read more on our blog.
