Awards for Postgraduate Students

The Levy-Plumb Fund exists to foster the Humanities in Christ’s College, including the academic study of the Humanities but also extending beyond it.  
 

Awards are made to undergraduate and graduate students of the College and are not restricted to students studying a Humanities course.  Listed below are the various types of awards the Fund Managers expect to make.  They welcome applications from all students at the College under any of these headings:

• Creative Arts Awards (visual arts, writing, composition, performing arts:  e.g. costs of materials, lessons, courses, other projects).

• Awards for Humanities Research, including travel where necessary. Preference may be given to applicants in areas not covered by other College Funds.

• Humanities Study Awards, for example language courses.

• Contributions to part funding of postgraduate study on Humanities courses in Cambridge. [The full-cost Levy-Plumb Graduate Scholarship is advertised separately.]

Please write (there is no form) to the Secretary of the Fund, Dr Rosemary Clark, Christ’s College.  You must include a statement of the project together with an estimated budget, on no more than two A4 pages.

All applications must be received by Friday 8th June 2012 and will be considered shortly thereafter.
