Catherine joined Christ's as Development Director in September 2008.  Prior to that she had been Development Officer and, latterly, Associate Development Director, at St John's College, Cambridge, where she took her BA in Classics.

As the first Development Officer at St John's College she set up the Development Office (known as the Johnian Office).   She also served as Senior Treasurer of the Lady Margaret Boat Club for many years and as Honorary Secretary of the Johnian Society. She is currently a member of the University Alumni Advisory Board’s Working Group on Networks and Volunteers.  At Christ's she is responsible for alumni relations and fundraising.
