The Yusuf Hamied Theatre

The Yusuf Hamied Theatre is located in New Court which dates from 1969-70. The Theatre was recently refurbished, the work being completed in November 2008, ready for conference use in 2009.

Now that the renovations have been completed, the room will seat 119 delegates theatre style and is equipped with up-to-date conference equipment and public address systems. The room  also has an efficient air cooling system

Plumb Auditorium

The Plumb Auditorium is a splendid room suitable as a main lecture room for smaller, more intimate conferences or as a break out room. With its high ceilings, superb acoustics and air conditioned surroundings it is comfortable and spacious. The room can seat up to 50 delegates in a semi circular table layout.  

Lloyd 
Room 

Located in The Stevenson Building which is in Third Court, this attractive room can seat up to 40 cassroom style and 20 to 22 in a     U shape, seated at tables.  A data projector and screen can aso be available in this room.

JCR

Located in
New Court close to the Theatre so is an ideal breakout room to seat a group of sixteen boardroom style, forty classroom style or 24 seated at tables in a U shape. It has large windows overlooking the
Darwin garden. The room also has the advantage of having an efficient air cooling system for summer comfort.

TV Room

Also, located in New Court
Room, close to the Theatre. This is an ideal breakout room that will seat a group of up to sixteen boardroom style, thirty classroom style or 20 seated at tables in a U shape. This room also overlooks the
Darwin garden and has the advantage of having an efficient air cooling system for summer comfort.

A data projector and screen can also be setup in both the JCR and TV rooms.

Lasdun Function Room

 Located close to the Hamied Theatre, it makes an ideal area for registration by conference groups, for drinks receptions or the serving of tea and coffee at break times. The room is light and spacious in spite of its New Court basement location, and has an efficient air cooling system.  There is a lift between the lower level and ground  floor making it easily accessible for disabled visitors.

Smaller Meeting Rooms

There are a number of smaller meeting rooms located throughout College that are suitable for use in boardroom style for groups of   ten delegates
