After completing my PhD in Developmental Genetics I moved to the University of Edinburgh to work on neural stem cells.  This work will continue at the new Centre for Stem Cell Research in Cambridge.  Understanding those biochemical events that regulate neural stem cells will enable us to develop new ways of treating injuries and diseases that affect the nervous system.
