Christ's College Choir - Concerts and tours

As well as singing Evensong twice a week in the College, the Choir performs frequently in Cambridge and London, broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio, and undertakes an international tour every year. In summer 2009, the Choir toured the East Coast of the USA, singing at the Cathedral of St John the Divine in New York, Washington National Cathedral, and many other venues. The tour also included appearances on WGBH radio in Boston, and WNYC radio in New York. See the tour report for full details.

In recent years the choir has also toured Australia, Canada (singing at St James’s Cathedral, Toronto), and the West Coast of the USA (singing at Grace Cathedral, San Francisco). Click the left-hand links for details of these tours.

26th September 2009 - concert at the Church of St Peter and St Paul, Fressingfield, Suffolk. The Fressingfield Music Festival also featured Emma Kirkby and Julian Lloyd Webber.

22nd July 2009 - BBC Prom concert celebrating the 800th anniversary of the University of Cambridge
