It was announced at the first Governing Body meeting of the year, on Saturday 2 October, that The Revd Christopher Woods, our Chaplain and Director of Studies in Theology is to be the new Secretary of the Church of England Liturgical Commission and National Advisor for Worship Development.

Christopher will begin his new post in January 2011, in Church House, Westminster. He will continue as Chaplain of Christ's on a half-time basis from January to August 2011, while the process to appoint the next Chaplain of the College gets underway.

"Christopher has fulfilled the role of Chaplain with verve and distinction, and under his leadership the 500th anniversary of the Chapel has been a year to remember. We wish Christopher every success in his new and challenging role at Westminster" commented the Master, Professor Frank Kelly.
