On Wednesday 17 February at 6.30pm, in the College Chapel, the Choir of Christ's College, accompanied by organ and orchestra, under the direction of David Rowland, performed 'Requiem: A Thanksgiving for Life' and a selection of other choral works by the composer, Sir Philip Ledger to a packed Chapel. We were delighted that Sir Philip was able to join us for the evening to enable us to 'launch' and further promote the recent recording of many of his choral works, on the Regent Records label.  The CD has been available since December 2009 and copies can be purchased in person at the College Porters' Lodge or by mailorder from here.  Sir Philip has recently published extensively with Encore Publications.
