Christ's College Choir begins a new year

On Saturday 19 September and on Saturday 26 September, the Choir of Christ's College Chapel, directed by David Rowland begins a busy term's singing schedule by performing at two concerts. On Saturday 19 September, the Choir performed at Boxgrove Priory in Chichester and on Saturday 26 September will perform at St Peter and St Paul's Church in Fressingfield in Suffolk at 7.30pm.

The concert in Fressingfield continues the Choir's tradition of performing at the Fressingfield Music Festival, which this year also features Emma Kirkby and Julian Lloyd Webber. The concert will include Mozart's Requiem and new settings of William Blake's poetry by Paul Carroll.

More information can be obtained by visiting the Fressingfield Music Festival website or by contacting the Christ's Chapel Administrator, Olivia Marshall.

The choir will sing next sing in Cambridge during Choral Evensong for new members of Christ's College on Sunday 4 October at 6.00pm in Christ's College Chapel.
