Christ’s Choir’s much-anticipated CD of music by Sir Philip Ledger, former Director of Music at King's College in

Cambridge, has been released just in time for Christmas.  The recording was made in December 2008 in Jesus College Chapel, and much of it was directed by the composer himself. 

Sir Philip Ledger’s beautiful, original and accessible compositions are winning world-wide popularity, and this recording is the first to be devoted entirely to his choral music.  The disc includes his Requiem - A Thanksgiving for Life for choir and orchestra, which is his largest-scale work to date.
