Sponsored Erg - Challenge successfully completed
Our sponsored erg, in aid of the January training camp took place on Saturday 3rd December 2011. Starting at 6am and finishing at 6pm over fifty five members worked together to cover a total distance of one million, one hundred and forty nine thousand, seven hundred and seventy eight metres (1,149,778m)! This far exceeded our target of one million metres. Some statistics are shown below.

a man: Matt Pryn - 79,118m (5.5 hrs)
a woman: Alice Taylor-Bennet - 40,000 (3.5 hrs)
a novice: Elias Lehtonen - 54,567m (4 hrs)
a cox: Ross Kempsell - 22,430 (2 hrs)
an alumni member: Duncan Bull - 21,205m (1.5hrs)

Thank you to all those who helped us reach our target. It was a great day at the club with everyone working together towards are goal.
