Peterborough Training Weekend
Over the weekend of 31st October/1st November, we took a number of crews to Peterborough rowing lake for an off-Cam training camp. Despite frequent bursts of heavy rain, and some strong winds on Sunday, the weekend was very successful, and a great benefit to all who attended.
Both Senior first boats attended on both days, and enjoyed the chance to row uninterrupted by the usual Cam traffic. The first novice men also attended both days, and the other novice boats came one day each. All made huge strides forward, and coped exceptionally well with some tricky conditions.
We had a number alumni come along to help with the coaching, along with a few coaches who help out more regularly. A big thank you to those who gave up their weekends to help out.
