Women's 2nd Division University Fours - WIN!!
6th November 2009Just a few lines to congratulate Flo’s Four on their win this afternoon at Uni IVs. Obviously we’re proud of all our crews, but I wanted to mention this race in particular because it was such a good example of how not to panic! Great for everyone to witness but should be particularly inspiring for all our novices.
Peterborough Training Weekend
2nd November 2009Over the weekend of 31st October/1st November, we took a number of crews to Peterborough rowing lake for an off-Cam training camp. Despite frequent bursts of heavy rain, and some strong winds on Sunday, the weekend was very successful, and a great benefit to all who attended.
University IVs 2009-10
26th October 2009University IV's took place from Monday 2nd to Friday 6th November. Christ's have three Women's crews and one Men's crew entered. The second womens IV won their division in a very exicting fashion. Click "read more" to read all the race reports from this week.
Alumni Regatta (27th September)

The hard at Christ's College Boat House resembled the flight deck of an aircraft carrier in wartime conditions. In the warm autumn sunshine, doubles were being dismantled and re-assembled with scull outriggers to suit visiting alumni's preferences. Smoke from the barbecue drifted across the Tarmac. A machine-gun rat-tat-tat noise drifted across the placid river, from a houseboat undergoing renovation. The plastic tub was having new foot straps fitted.
Autumn Head 2009-10
17th October 2009Autumn Head 2009 took place on Saturday 17th October 2009. Christ's entered their M1, W1 and W2 IV crews. The Fellows boat also rowed under the Champion of the Thames banner.
