Alexandra has been awarded this year's Richard de la Hoyde sporting bursary (in commemoration of the late Richard de la Hoyde, Christ's 1977-80). She is a Full Blue in Squash, being number 3 in the first University team. She is also Captain of women's hockey and tennis in College, as well as playing men's and mixed hockey and men's squash.  She is captain-elect of the University women's squash team and was our one winner in the 4-1 defeat to Oxford.  Alexandra is in her second year reading Natural Sciences (Chemistry).

Nicholas

McLoughlin is Captain of the University Water Polo team that recently won the Varsity Match (held on Valentine's Day, with a final score of 15-11). He received a sporting award associated with the name of the late Wilfred Wooller (Christ's 1932-36).  Nicholas is in his second year reading Mathematics.

These two awards, together with several smaller awards to other outstanding sportsmen and women in the College, were made from funds raised by Old Members.
