Lord Sainsbury has been elected Chancellor of the University of Cambridge.  The Chancellor is also the Visitor to Christ's College.

HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh, stood down from the role on 30 June after 34 years in the post. Prince Philip has been a frequent visitor to the College, most recently on the occasion of Darwin's Anniversary.
