Alumnus and former Levy Plumb Studentship holder Lachlan Goudie (m. 1995) has a solo exhibition, 'Of the Moment', in Glasgow, opening on May 21st and running to the 15th June. Having previously exhibited his work in London and New York, Lachlan will be displaying his work at the Roger Billcliffe gallery, who say of the show:
"Artistic dynasties are not unusual - McTaggarts, Nicholsons, Morroccos - but their evolution is often full of surprises. Lachlan Goudie continues the tradition with a group of new works that reveal his lineage - he is Alexander Goudie's son - but show it tempered and extended by a sensitive examination of the world about us. We are delighted to host his first solo exhibition in Glasgow and look forward to following the development of his distinctive brushstroke."

Clare Burnett (m. 1983) has also enjoyed artistic success recently, having been elected to the Council of the Royal Society of British Sculptors. Clare studied law and architecture at Christ's and has gone on to be a successful London based abstract artist whose work examines relationships between shapes, colours, materials, space and the visual environment. She uses drawing, painting and sculpture to create permanent and temporary site specific interventions, often on a large scale. Her background in architecture and fine art underpin her practice.
