25 September Alumni Reunion

Nearly 90 alumni returned to College on the 25th September to reminisce with their College friends and enjoy a day of events to mark the occassion.

Alumni had the opportunity to visit the Darwin Rooms, listen to a very interesting talk from Dr William Peterson (Fellow of Christ's) on the reasons behind the global economic crisis, and enjoy afternoon tea in the buttery (sadly the early autumnal chill drove us inside!).

Before pre-dinner drinks in the Fellows' Garden, guests viewed an exhibition by recent Levy Plumb Arts Scholarship holder Naomi Grant in the Visual Arts Centre.

Following a traditional dinner in formal hall, we heard a speech from the Master on developments and news from College, before Mr Richard Kenning(m.1969) made an additional speech, toasting the guests and the College.

Many alumni finished the evening with drinks in the buttery, as there was still much catching up to be done!
