We are pleased to announce the launch of the Christ’s College Distinguished Speaker Series. The aim of the series is to bring alumni together for dinner in a convivial atmosphere to hear a talk from distinguished alumni and friends of the College.

The first event takes place on Thursday 21 March 2013 at 7.00pm for 7.45pm at the Oxford & Cambridge Club in London. After dinner Professor Sir David Cannadine will speak on “When did the British monarchy become a constitutional monarchy?".

He was knighted in the New Year’s Honours List 2009 for Services to Education.

He is the author of twelve books, and is a well known commentator on British public life, especially on Radio 4 where he is a regular contributor to the series ‘A Point of View’.
